Last year I was browsing through Amazon and what did I see? A pair of clunky, cloud-like apparitions which turned out to be Birkenstock Arizonas with a full faux sheepskin lining. Yep, they're quite fugly, but boy, they're so comfy and cosy.
Mmm - I'm writhing around in the sheer tactile loveliness. Yum!
Here's the side view ...
Apparently, Arizona is home to a rare species of large-horned desert sheep. Perhaps this has some bearing on the naming of these Birkenstocks?
ReplyDeleteNow, that's a pretty darn amazing fact. Almost QIesque in nature. I'd love another pair, but they're now retailing at £41+ instead of the £26ish I paid for them last summer.
DeleteBoo! Oh well. Perhaps if I buy some of your old footwear, you'll shave extra cash with which to purchase new ones. I'll send you an email later on!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!
